The AC-AUD is a single switched outlet that can switch 15 amps of continuous
current to a device or power strip.
The AC-AUD features a 30 amp relay with overvoltage protection to prevent
the relay from creating high voltage spikes. The AC-AUD is normally-off until
a trigger signal is sensed. This trigger signal can be from:

When the AC-AUD senses either one of these trigger signals, it will activate
the switched outlet. The AC-AUD will turn on immediately once a trigger
signal is sensed. It will wait 10 minutes before shutting off after the
signal has disappeared.
The AC-AUD is perfect for applications where a remote powered subwoofer
must be turned on when sensing an incoming audio signal. The AC-AUD can
also be used to switch the power to an amplifier that is on an isolated
power line by sensing when an outlet on a pre-amp or receiver is active.
