One very nice feature about the AC-2 is that the unit itself will teach the infrared commands to the control systems. You don’t need to purchase any external remotes. You don’t have to make sure a remote control is in your toolbox, it’s built into the AC-2.

The AC-2 also features some intelligence. If the unit is turned on through an IR command, it must be turned off using an IR command or manually. When triggered by the video or dc voltage signals, only the absence of these signals will turn the AC-2 off.
